Facilitated the test, calibration, problem solving and repair of precision electronic protection equipment for use in the electrical transmission and distribution industry. Took voluntary redundancy from ALSTOM in September 2002 to gain qualifications required to accomplish a full-time career in graphic design.

Maddie Wall 28 Day Running Challenge for the NHS
During the 2020 coronavirus pandemic I worked with Lydia Lewis of PRorigins to help 13 year old Maddie Wall from Nottingham raise money for the NHS. Lydia had responded to a plea by Maddie's father on LinkedIn for help in promoting her challenge and asked for assistance in video editing. All work was done free of charge.
Inspired by Captain Sir Thomas Moore, Maddie ran five miles a day for 28 days and via PR, social media and videos edited with footage taken by Maddie's Dad each day, we were able to help Maddie raise over £7000 for the NHS by getting her story on BBC East Midlands Today on two separate occasions, Notts TV and in the Daily Mirror newspaper.

As Studio Manager at Edson Evers I worked with Yale UK to create new branding, packaging, point-of-sale and print advertising for their extensive Smart Living range of high-tech security products.
BEMA (Built Environment Marketing Awards)
Best Use Of Digital Communications: Award presented for the PR campaign 'Finning in Action' for Finning Caterpillar UK which embraces the use of video for case studies, news and press releases rather than the more traditional forms of public relations.
The Coldest Journey
Worked with renowned explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes to produce a promotional video to gain support, funding and specialist equipment for 'The Coldest Journey', an expedition which aimed to cross the Antarctic during Winter (something which has never been done before) whilst taking scientific readings to measure the affects of climate change on our planet.
